April 2012, my now husband and I arrived at The Hitching Post for our wedding day. As we had planned our day, we heard so many stories from unexpected people about how they (or their parents, or their grandparents) were married at the Hitching Post. It became a wonderful legacy to us. The Knapps were so kind and helpful, with flowers and the small decisions we needed to make beforehand, that when we walked in, we felt completely welcome and comfortable. The service was perfect – just what we had hoped – and our family commented on what a nice day it was overall. We came with only a few family members, and left with two new people who have greatly influenced our lives. Lynn’s posts about love and marriage, and her kind communications with us, have been such a blessing. We will always hold The Hitching Post in our hearts, and have such a wonderful memory of our big day. Thanks for making it such a great place!!
