The Venue
The Hitching Post is located in beautiful Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. We are nestled in between rolling mountains and just down the block from renowned Lake Coeur d’ Alene for your wedding destination.
With only a 30-mile drive to nearby Spokane, Washington, the Hitching Post is a premier destination for romance, beauty, and the beginning of a lifetime of love.
We have three distinct rooms within our venue to get married. Each is decorated, which means you do not need to bring your own decorations.

The Main Chapel
The Main Chapel is our most popular room in which couples get married at the Hitching Post. The Main Chapel seats up to 15 people and is typically set up in row style seating with an isle for the bride to walk down, if she chooses. Flowers and foliage adorn the front of the room, where the wedding ceremony will be held.

The Western Room
If you are the type of couple who likes more of western feel, our Western Room is a great option for a smaller gathering. Seating 6-8 people, you’ll enjoy the intimate feeling of sharing your vows in our Western Room.

The Victorian Style Sitting Room
For an even more romantic feel, we welcome you to utilize our Victorian Style Sitting Room, with antique furniture and a cozy feel. The Victorian Style Sitting Room seats 5-7 guests.
